Cosa fare a Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos
L'Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos è uno dei monumenti più importanti di Cordoba. La costruzione di questa struttura difensiva fu ordinata dal re Alfonso XI di Castiglia nel 1328. Il complesso offre al visitatore la possibilità di esplorare magnifici giardini e cortili che mantengono vive le tradizioni originali. È uno dei luoghi più visitati della città insieme alla Moschea e alla Sinagoga. Nel 1931 è stato dichiarato Bene di Interesse Culturale e fa parte del centro storico di Cordoba, che a sua volta è stato dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO nel 1994. I Re Cattolici hanno trascorso più di otto anni in questa fortezza e da qui hanno condotto la campagna contro il Regno di Granada. Nella Torre degli Omaggi, Cristoforo Colombo nell'anno 1486 richiese i fondi per la sua avventura marittima.
