Travelling through the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys and up to the Pordoi pass, the iconic scenery is a 'must' for nature lovers and photographers alike. Your adventure begins as you travel by coach into the heart of the Dolomites. It's a scenic drive through the Fassa Valley passing Canazei and Moena, you'll then weave up the spectacular 27 hairpin bend road to the Pordoi Pass reaching an altitude of 2240m.

Here, you can take a leisurely lunch break while drinking in the surrounding natural beauty. Then, seize the opportunity to take an optional cable car ride up to a dizzy height of 2950m, offering unparalleled views over the Marmolada, the Sella and the Catinaccio. Continue to Val Gardena for a stop in the typical alpine village of Ortisei, where you can find out more about the traditions and language of the Ladino people.

A fabulous day out which made a long day travelling worthwhile. Having gone to the upper plateau in the cable car the views were breathtaking. The best trip I’ve been on in many countries and resorts over the years

Only downside was that it was a long day travelling but there’s nothing at all you can do about that. We had plenty of stops for breaks and clear instructions from the guide. The driver was fantastic and very competent on those hairpin bends. Shame it was pretty cloudy when we were up there but it made for some very interesting photos :)

The excursion was very interesting, and a wonderful experience. The optional cable car ride was well organised and efficient. The app stated the excursion would take 8.5 hours; however, in reality the excursion takes approximately 12 hours. Customers need to be forewarned!

Obviously long day but aware of this. Scenery along the way helps and guide was informative. Driver very good around those hairpin bends! Enough time at Dolomites, raining on way home so couldn't stop at typical village which was a shame but it's the weather. Overall, long but interesting day.

Je bus stopt eerst in Limone, met zijn citroenboomgaarden en de citroenkleurige huizen aan de rand van het meer.
