Sehr schöne und vorallem beeindruckende Tour. Tiefe Einblicke in die Geschichte des Day of the Dead bekommen.
Enjoy a tour where you can be part of one of the most significant Mexican traditions, the Day of the Dead, celebrated on November 1st. Begin your experience with a panoramic visit around the streets of Mexico City visiting famous landmarks including the Monumento a la Revolución, the Ángel de la Independencia, and the Paseo de la Reforma.
Visit the Panteón, where dedicated offerings are mounted each year to iconic characters of Mexico. Witness the guide giving an offering and hear about the elements involved. You will see the traditional catrinas and marigold flowers that decorate each of the scenes represented.
After this colorful visit, enjoy a night tour in a trajinera through the canals of Xochimilco. Float through the decorated canals and pass through the floating gardens, popularly known as chinampas. You will visit a pantheon at night, and you will admire the famous altars and their rich expressions of popular art that merge symbolism and thought, both pre-Hispanic and Catholic around death.
