What to expect

Spend the day exploring the world's most famous museum, the Louvre, with your expert guide. You'll pass from one breathtaking gallery to the next as you travel through time visiting works dating from 450 BCE through to the 19th century.

The Louvre displays over 35,000 pieces (with another 380,000 in its basements) spanning over 60,000 square meters. Seeing all that this museum has to offer is an impossible task but this small group tour will help you make the most of your time, leading you through the best of the collection and some hidden gems.

Meeting point:

Meet the guide, dressed in blue attire, beside the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. This prominent arch features a horse-drawn chariot on top but is currently undergoing renovation. To locate it, stand with your back to the entrance of the Louvre Pyramid, and you'll spot it across the road, just before the entrance to the Tuileries Garden. The coordinators will be standing to the left of the Arc, along the wall railing.
