Then along the Embarcadero, you go by the Star of India, USS Midway, Seaport Village, Convention Center and Petco Park, leading you to the vibrant Chicano Park. Crossing the Coronado Bridge, your first 45-minute halt brings you to the historic Hotel Del Coronado built in 1888. Another 45-minute break ensues at the enchanting Balboa Park, the site of the 1915 Panama California Exposition. Then a 45-minute interlude transpires at Old Town, the birthplace of California.

Venturing along the 5 freeway, a 45-minute respite at La Jolla Cove lets you savour the refreshing ocean breeze and visit the Sea Lions. The route encompasses the picturesque Pacific Beach and Crystal Pier. Mission Beach beckons for a 45-minute stay to enjoy the Boardwalk, Belmont Park and the Pacific Ocean. Also Mission Bay Park. Meeting point:
The white tour bus will arrive outside Santa Fe Depot on Kettner Blvd between 9:30am-9:45am, north of the MTS Bus Stop by the tree and bench, next to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. There is paid parking behind Santa Fe Depot on Pacific Coast Highway.
What to remember

Not suitable for:

  • Infants (age 0-4) are not allowed on the tour
  • Not recommended for travellers with breathing, leg or knee problems
  • Not suitable for pregnant women and people with walking or health problems. There is a lot of walking on the tour

Know in advance:

  • please note that all entry fees for extra-activities such as the Big Dipper rollercoaster aren't included in the tour's price
  • You need to arrive 15 minutes before the departure time. Latecomers are not entitled to a refund

Remember to bring:

  • Sunscreen, a hat or a cap, and a thin jacket could turn useful when getting closer to the ocean
  • Bring snacks like fruit, power bars, and chips
