Visit Louwman Museum to discover the world's oldest private collection of historic cars - this is a must-see for car aficionados! Located on the Leidsestraatweg near the A44 highway, the museum has on display over 275 automobiles including classic cars from the Dutch brand Spyker and the only remaining Eysink. Admire special cars from Winston Churchill and the Aston Martin DB5 used in the James Bond movie Goldfinger to a Cadillac from Elvis Presley.
The Louwman family began assembling their unique collection of cars in 1934 and later opened the private collection to the public at Louwman Museum in 2010. The museum building was designed by American architect Michael Graves and does not only historic cars but also the largest collection of automotive art.
Step into the history of the automobile industry from the horse and wagon to the first self-propelled vehicles. Along the way, you'll stroll past luxury cars from the 19th century, post-war cars and the first racing cars.
