Immergetevi nella storia e nella cultura di Agadir con un tour di mezza giornata in tutti i suoi luoghi di interesse. Visitate una kasbah tradizionale, fate una passeggiata lungo il porto e il giro e orientatevi con il tempo libero in città.

Il primo passo è la visita alla kasbah di Agadir Oufella. Costruita nel 1541 come fortezza, le rovine si trovano su una collina fuori città e offrono un'ampia vista sul porto, sulla spiaggia e sulla città. Poi si attraversa la zona del porto, dove si possono vedere i pescatori che scaricano il pescato del giorno. Si passa poi alla città nuova e alle vie principali di Agadir, dove è possibile scattare qualche foto davanti alla Moschea Mohamed V.

Poi rallenteremo il ritmo con una visita guidata e del tempo libero al mercato principale, il Souk El Had. Contrattare con i venditori di spezie, artigianato, oggetti d'arredamento e altro ancora non fa solo parte dell'esperienza, ma è atteso. O perché non sorseggiare un tè alla menta mentre osservate il mondo che vi circonda. Per fare ulteriori affari, l'ultima tappa dello shopping è Chez Tijani.

It was nice to see the city, but nothing you couldn’t have done independently. The tour guide’s phone kept ringing whilst he was speaking, and he kept answering the calls making the tour quite broken. The tour was also in two languages: German and English, but the guide translated sentences at a time in each language making it hard to follow.

We booked an English tour that was conducted predominantly in German, it turned up 15 mins late, the guide continually answered his phone during the tour, we were taken to an Argen oil outlet for a 30 minute hard sell then left to our own devices in the souk for an hour. During which time we saw other TUI tours being led by their guide. A complete was of an afternoon.

Overall we enjoyed the trip however did feel quite rushed, we could have done with more that 20 minutes at the Kasbah of Agadir to take in all the information and the views. We did not even stop outside the Mosque, just went straight through to the Souk. Our guide although presumably very informative it was hard to understand as he spoke too fast. The Argan oil shop was not on my itinerary however enjoyed this.

We enjoyed the mixture of sights from the coach and walking tour. The guide was great, friendly and informative. Our least favorite was the souk, great to see but we didn’t need quite so much time. However all in all really enjoyed everything. Felt completely safe throughout.

You'll travel from Agadir to see some of the city's highlights, experience Djemaa el-Fna by night, dine in an opulent riad and check out the seaside city of Essaouira on your way back. Ibrahim, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘I was born and bred in Essaouira, but my family moved away when I was 14. Now, when I return, I'm filled with nostalgia as I tour the alleys where I used to play football with my Arab and Jewish friends. Essaouira has always been a multicultural melting pot.'On day one, we'll hit the road to Marrakech, where on arrival you'll delve straight into the medina's warren of tightly-packed streets. Spend the morning taking in sights as we drop by places like Jardin Secret, before lunch at Dar Nejarine. After some free time to explore, we'll head to Djemaa el-Fna at dusk – the best time to see it – before a tasty dinner and traditional entertainment in a riad.On day two we'll head to the coastal city of Essaouira. Its mellow atmosphere, narrow winding streets laden with kaleidoscopic carpets, peeling-paint houses with and heavy old wooden doors make it a wonderful place to wander around. Walk the ramparts of the harbour, known as the Skala, where electric-blue boats bob in the water, or discover the atmospheric medina. There's a lunch stop included followed by free time to explore, before returning to Agadir in the early evening.

Indeed, there are several waterfalls in the heart of our green valley, a place known especially for the quality of its honey.'Your High Atlas Mountains off-road adventure begins with a light breakfast and then a photo stop at the cool, palm-clad Tamzargout oasis, where you can stretch our legs. As we travel higher up into the mountains, the jaw-dropping views over Paradise Valley are sure to leave an impression. We'll arrive in the village of Immouzer to see how life in a typical Berber mountain community unfolds. On hot days, you might see local kids jumping off the rocks into the natural pools just outside the village.As you stroll around the village, you'll pass stalls selling Moroccan souvenirs and the prized local honey. Jamal says, ‘My mother used to prepare an artisanal treat known as “amlou”, made with Immouzer honey mixed with crushed almonds and argan oil, a real Berber delicacy.' Next it's time for an al fresco lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You'll have some free time to relax and take in your dramatic surroundings before we return to Agadir through a different route in the mountains.
